Communication Transformation for Harrisonville Cass Schools

Harrisonville School District, serving about 2,500 students in Harrisonville, Missouri, needed a way to improve staff access to board documents and streamline internal communication. To move away from paper-intensive processes and make current and archived materials easily available to teachers and stakeholders, the district adopted BoardDocs’ paperless governance solution for board meetings.

With BoardDocs, the district publishes board packets online, links the system from its homepage, lets staff submit items directly into packets, and uses the platform’s minutes-generator to auto-create meeting summaries. As a result, staff can instantly retrieve documents (for example, salary information) without phone requests, packets are published as items arrive so delays are eliminated, meetings run faster because members can pre-review materials, and administrative effort to compile minutes and packets has been markedly reduced.
