A Boardable Case Study
United Way of Central Indiana faced growing complexity managing more than 420 volunteers across 90 board members and 300+ committee members, struggling with fragmented communications, manual meeting preparation, and insecure document sharing. Seeking an affordable, purpose-built solution, the nonprofit partnered with Boardable and adopted Boardable’s board management/board portal software to better coordinate members, agendas, and materials.
Boardable implemented a centralized portal with secure, searchable document storage, member grouping, threaded discussions, and an Agenda Builder developed with UWCI input. The change cut email clutter, reduced staff time spent preparing meetings, and streamlined collaboration across internal teams and external partners; UWCI quickly realized ROI while onboarding its 400+ board and committee members, and Boardable was added to the United Way Worldwide Network Purchasing Program so other United Ways can access discounted pricing.
