A Boardable Case Study

Phi Kappa Psi Foundation - Customer Case Study

Phi Kappa Psi Foundation, one of the largest fraternal foundations in the country, faced an information-sharing challenge: a 13-member board spread across the U.S., about nine committees, and only three in-person meetings a year made it hard to coordinate scholarship, leadership, and housing work. CEO Ben Nicol evaluated board portal options and selected Boardable for its intuitive interface and simple user experience that would work for busy and less tech‑savvy trustees.

The Foundation implemented Boardable’s board portal to centralize agendas, documents, committee groups, Discussions, and Polls. After about a year they have nearly 70 users in the portal, can segment users by committee, quickly produce meeting materials, and avoid digging through emails; Polls provide a clear record of who voted and the final tally. Boardable has helped the Phi Kappa Psi Foundation streamline communication and governance while supporting its work of raising, investing, and granting tens of millions to 100 chapters.
