A Boardable Case Study
Big Brothers Big Sisters of America (BBBSA), a national mentoring nonprofit with about 245 local agencies and an 18-member board of high-level executives, faced time-consuming board meeting logistics and a pandemic-driven shift to fully virtual meetings. Seeking a budget-friendly way to create and share board books and streamline agendas, BBBSA evaluated and adopted Boardable’s board management platform (including features like the Agenda Builder and centralized board book storage).
Boardable delivered a single source of truth for board materials, enabling BBBSA to cut board book preparation from more than two weeks to under one week, eliminate printing/shipping costs, and make real-time edits and agenda management simple for remote staff and volunteer leaders. By implementing Boardable in early 2020, Big Brothers Big Sisters of America achieved faster, more efficient, and more cost-effective meetings while improving access to all documentation for the entire board.
