A Boardable Case Study
Encamp, a platform that accelerates environmental compliance for EHS managers, consultants, and environmental scientists, faced costly and time-consuming board administration—compiling board books could cost up to $3,000 per meeting—and the shift to a fully remote company during COVID made secure, universal access to board materials essential. When Alia McCord joined Encamp she pushed to adopt Boardable to bring the same cost and labor efficiencies she had used at her previous company.
Encamp implemented the Boardable platform as a central repository for board documentation, agendas, calendars, and reminders, enabling remote access to historical records and simplifying onboarding. Using Boardable, Encamp eliminated the need for contract workers or IT help to add members (reducing a 20‑minute process to about five minutes), cut administrative steps, and reduced paper waste and per‑meeting costs—streamlining board operations and saving both time and money.
