A Boardable Case Study
CHIP Young Professionals, the young professionals arm of the Coalition for Homelessness Intervention and Prevention in Indianapolis, was relaunched to better engage people in their 20s and 30s but faced challenges from an informal, intern-driven structure: flooded inboxes, no single member roster, difficulty tracking communications, calendars, RSVPs and follow‑up tasks across devices. To solve this, the group adopted Boardable’s nonprofit board management platform.
Using Boardable to centralize messaging, calendars, documents, task tracking and discussions, CHIP Young Professionals cut project timelines and daily administrative time—creating a one‑page outreach infographic in under two weeks instead of the usual three months, and reducing the time to catch up on updates from about 20 minutes to under five. Boardable also enabled opt‑out communications, smoother meeting management and member-driven workflows, freeing staff time and prompting plans to introduce Boardable to CHIP’s Board of Directors.
