A Boardable Case Study
Cape Cod Child Development, a Hyannis, MA nonprofit serving over 3,000 local children for more than 40 years, faced growing governance challenges as its board expanded to 11 members and nearly 50 committee members and volunteers. To better coordinate meetings, store documents, and improve communication across committees, board member Dave Chase trialed and then helped the organization adopt Boardable’s board management software.
Boardable provided a subscription large enough to include the full board and committees, centralizing document storage, meeting planning and records, scheduling, Discussions and polls. The result: simpler meeting scheduling and updates, fewer confusing email threads, more accessible committee collaboration (notably for the large policy committee), and a single archived place for documents and conversations—helping Cape Cod Child Development efficiently coordinate its 11 board members and roughly 50 committee/volunteer participants using Boardable.
