Aztec Group, a global fund and corporate services provider, needed a better way to manage board packs after finding its existing portal too manual and time-consuming. Board Intelligence was brought in to support its board portal needs, helping replace a process that took the secretariat up to 70 hours a week and was not well suited to Aztec Group’s multi-client, multi-fund, multi-board structure.

Board Intelligence implemented a secure board portal and app designed for fund and corporate service providers, with features such as granular permissions, segregated bookcases, and easy access for multi-boarded directors. The result was faster board pack preparation and distribution, easier collaboration for directors, and a major reduction in paper use: in 2023 alone, Aztec Group saved as much paper as six African elephants weigh, alongside significant time and environmental benefits.
