A Board Intelligence Case Study
Aviva, the UK’s largest insurer with 28,000 employees, needed to embed best-practice board reporting across the organisation so papers were consistent, concise and focused on what mattered. Aviva’s Group Secretariat engaged Board Intelligence to deliver this change using their online Reporting Toolkit, Write.
Board Intelligence customised Write for Aviva, engaged the Executive Committee, developed CEO-facing templates and ran face-to-face workshops for 250 report authors to embed the approach. The result was a step-change in board information — shorter, higher-quality papers that better address board priorities, increased assurance on regulatory duties, time saved through fewer iterations, and upskilled report authors — outcomes Board Intelligence is now scaling internationally.
