Multi-National Corporation, a company that designs, manufactures, markets, and distributes vehicles and vehicle parts, needed to move auto parts between two manufacturing plants. However, constraints at the second plant’s assembly line were creating major production issues. BNSF Logistics was brought in to help address the challenge.

BNSF Logistics designed a long-term assembly line solution using three non-stop daily deliveries with team drivers. Pickups were scheduled at 3:00am, 5:00am, and 7:00am for next-day delivery Tuesday through Friday, with an additional Saturday pickup for Monday delivery. The approach created a dependable supply flow, reduced costs tied to assembly line constraints, and helped restore smooth, on-time production.
