Peak Conditioning, part of Allied Health Australia, needed to keep secure fax communications running as Telstra ISDN services were being disconnected during the NBN rollout, while also supporting a cloud-first move to Microsoft Azure. The company had long used BNS Group Australia’s fax server technology on-premises, and needed a way to continue faxing without relying on on-premises phone lines.

BNS Group Australia worked with Comvergence and Professional Advantage Sydney to design a secure Azure-based fax solution, using an IPSEC tunnel to Azure and TLS to move fax images safely between Azure and Office 365. The result was that Peak Conditioning could maintain secure fax services in Microsoft Azure, remove all remaining on-premises hardware, and smoothly transition fax and 1300 numbers off Telstra ISDN.
