The Australian Tax Office (ATO) is one of the largest government departments in Australia and required a robust and scalable fax server solution to manage the millions of fax pages it sends and receives annually. BNS Group provided a long-term solution, initially using PSTN connections before upgrading the ATO's infrastructure in 2018. BNS Group worked with partners to implement a modernized, SIP-based fax system featuring virtualized servers and Sonus Session Border Controllers connected via Optus SIP trunks.
