The Arcadian, a leading leisure destination in Birmingham City Centre, needed a better waste management service for its mix of restaurants, bars, and hotels. It wanted a more effective way to handle glass, mixed recyclables, and general waste while improving recycling and reducing landfill use, so it partnered with B&M Waste.

B&M Waste carried out detailed waste audits and site visits to create a tailored service for The Arcadian, separating food, cardboard, glass, and general waste for the best possible recycling outcomes. Food waste was sent for anaerobic digestion, glass and cardboard were recycled into new products, and general waste was processed as Refuse Derived Fuel, helping ensure 100% of waste was diverted from landfill and making the operation carbon neutral.
