Renshaw - Customer Case Study

Renshaw, a British food manufacturer with a busy Liverpool production site, needed a more efficient and compliant way to manage the significant waste generated by its baking and cake decorating operations. The company wanted a waste management partner that could match its high environmental standards, and chose B&M Waste to help streamline collection, storage, and recycling.

B&M Waste installed two compactors for general waste and cardboard, added colour-coded segregation containers, and provided training for factory staff to improve recycling practices. The solution helped Renshaw divert 190 tonnes of general waste from landfill, recycle over 120 tonnes of cardboard, and compost over 70 tonnes of nut skins, saving 441,818 kg of carbon in 2015 alone, while also improving site tidiness and creating opportunities for revenue from recovered materials.
