English Provender Company, a family-run supplier of authentic dressings and condiments for major food manufacturers and retailers, was struggling with a low-recycling waste process. Before working with B&M Waste Services, food waste and plastics were mixed together, meaning most of the waste was going to landfill.

B&M Waste Services assessed the site and introduced a new segregation system with separate bins for food, general, plastic and card waste, plus separate collection for rinsed pails and lids. B&M also installed a baler for plastic waste, provided staff training and posters, and supplied environmental reporting to track recycling. The result was higher recycling and diversion from landfill, fewer collections, lower transport emissions, and cost savings.
