Community Integrated Care celebrate 100% diversion from landfill with B&M Waste Services

Community Integrated Care, a national social care charity supporting thousands of people across England and Scotland, wanted to reduce the environmental impact of its waste while working within tight care-sector budgets. To help meet this challenge, the organization partnered with B&M Waste, using its carbon neutral waste management services and zero-waste-to-landfill approach.

B&M Waste implemented tailored on-site segregation schemes, clear signage, and food waste recycling across Community Integrated Care’s services, helping the charity increase recycling and divert 100% of waste from landfill. The partnership also produced regular environmental reports showing measurable impact, including landfill diversion in one quarter of 2016 equivalent to 48 trees saved, or almost 17,000 car miles, while delivering simple, hassle-free service from B&M Waste.
