Chill Factore, the indoor real snow slope and leisure destination in Trafford, Manchester, needed a better way to manage the large amount of trade waste generated by its restaurants, shops, and ski facilities. B&M Waste Services worked with the customer to improve waste segregation and increase recycling through a commercial waste and recycling service.

B&M Waste Services carried out a waste audit, then introduced separate bins for dry mixed recycling, glass, and general waste. The company’s zero waste to landfill approach also ensured general waste was diverted to RDF and then used for energy recovery, with monthly environmental reports showing where waste went. As a result, Chill Factore achieved over 60% recycling levels.
