A B&M Waste Case Study
110 Bishopsgate, the tallest building in the City of London financial district, needed a more efficient way to manage waste across its 35 floors of offices and restaurants. B&M Waste was brought in as the preferred supplier to provide a total waste management solution, after the site was found to have a costly and space-consuming daily waste collection process with very little segregation in place.
B&M Waste carried out a full site audit, introduced segregation training, bespoke recycling literature, and new onsite equipment including balers, compactors, and industrial scales to improve efficiency and tenant-level tracking. The changes reduced contamination, improved invoicing accuracy, and delivered an 89% recycling rate, with carbon savings equal to 17,000 car miles per month for 110 Bishopsgate.
