Londinium, a producer of premium lever espresso machines, partnered with manufacturer Fracino. Their challenge was to develop a connected machine that could master various espresso roasts and give users granular control via a mobile app, all while minimizing development costs and time to market. They sought a solution for features like autonomous machine start scheduling and needed to create a beautiful, user-friendly application.

The vendor, Blynk, provided its IoT platform to implement the solution. Using Blynk.Edgent for WiFi provisioning and Blynk's out-of-the-box automations for scheduling, the team quickly built and published branded iOS and Android apps. Blynk's platform also provided data insights and over-the-air update capabilities. The result was a successfully launched product with a seamless user experience, allowing Londinium to focus on hardware while Blynk managed the connected infrastructure.
