BeeMate, an Australian company that created AI-driven beehives, needed a comprehensive IoT platform to support their system of smart sensors. Their challenge involved monitoring hive conditions like temperature and sound, aggregating data in the cloud, and presenting it to beekeepers through branded mobile apps with notifications. They sought a single vendor to provide a private cloud, mobile apps, and device management tools.

The vendor Blynk provided a full software solution, including a dedicated cloud server and a no-code app builder, which eliminated the need for custom development. Blynk's platform was used to set up multi-tenant administration, configure data dashboards, implement alerts, and publish the branded BeeMate apps to the iOS and Android stores. This allowed beekeepers to monitor their hives in real time and receive critical notifications, all achieved with the support of a dedicated launch engineer from Blynk.
