Scotts & Co is a family-owned UK multi-channel retailer operating eleven specialist catalogue brands (including Scotts of Stow) with annual sales over £60m and significant catalogue, online and in-store channels. With around 70% of customer deliveries fulfilled by drop-ship suppliers across more than 300 partners, manual order handoffs and paper-based processes created poor visibility of stock and order status, slow fulfilment, limited carrier options and inconsistent customer experience.

Scotts implemented BluJay’s Commerce web-based order management solution integrated with its Elucid system to give buyers, merchandisers and suppliers real-time visibility, automated fulfilment rules, a supplier-facing portal and audit trails. Within three months delivery promises improved from 14–28 days to 10–14 days, carrier strategy and flexibility improved (cutting carrier costs by around 10%), centralized printing was eliminated, digital order processing and invoicing streamlined, and forecasting, supplier collaboration and overall service consistency were significantly enhanced.
