Hannibal Industries, a pallet rack and steel tube manufacturer, faced challenges maintaining its in-house product configurator after a key employee departed. This led to difficulties creating accurate CAD drawings and inefficient data flow between engineering and operations. They sought a new solution integrated with their Microsoft Dynamics ERP system and turned to Bluestar PLM for its Product Configurator (CFG).

Bluestar PLM implemented a stable and easy-to-use configurator that was fully integrated with the existing ERP system. The implementation was completed in just 2.5 months. The solution automated design processes, and a key measurable result was the ability to both configure a part and create its CAD drawing in approximately 90 seconds, drastically improving accuracy and efficiency for Hannibal Industries.
