The customer, DAS Environmental Expert GmbH, faced challenges with its previous disconnected system landscape. Their PDM system lacked a deep integration with their ERP, preventing a single source of truth and hindering efficient data exchange between engineering and production. They were recommended to switch to Bluestar PLM, a solution fully embedded in Microsoft Dynamics 365, to overcome these obstacles and better support variant-based production.

Bluestar PLM implemented an integrated system featuring a BPM module and an eBOM+mBOM module, which provided a unified user interface and real-time synchronization between PLM and ERP functions. This solution enabled DAS EE to systematically manage thousands of Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and support a global user base. The results included increasing their user base from 60 to 300 worldwide and providing full transparency, with over 2,150 ECOs being actively tracked and managed within the new system.
