Fathead, a short film created with the USC ETC and SCA grad program, faced a remote-production challenge during COVID: assets and communications were scattered across Google Drive and email, teams worked in silos, and there was no central hub or shared language for pre-production. Seeking a solution, the Fathead team turned to Bluescape’s collaborative visual workspace and virtual whiteboard tools.

Bluescape provided an interactive, infinite workspace with collaborative storyboards that unified assets, made ownership visible, and let departments work in tandem. As a result, Bluescape helped Fathead cut redundant meetings and back-and-forth, save valuable production time, eliminate searching through countless folders or sticky notes, and keep the entire crew on the same page from day one.
