A Bluescape Case Study
HASSELL, an international architecture and design practice with studios across Australia, China, Southeast Asia, the US, and the UK, needed a way to digitize pin‑up walls and enable real‑time collaboration across offices. To let distributed teams and external partners see, follow, and contribute to projects from any location, HASSELL adopted Bluescape’s visual collaboration platform and project boards.
Bluescape was rolled out across HASSELL’s projects—within two weeks each project had its own Bluescape board—and scaled as teams moved from nine studios to roughly 750 “home” studios during the pandemic. By using Bluescape for site analysis, schematic design through construction documentation, and cross‑firm collaboration, HASSELL improved the cadence of design reviews, eliminated timezone/location constraints, and boosted efficiency and capacity to make more meaningful design decisions.
