Bluescape Expands BIM Principles to AEC for Integrated Project Delivery

Leading Full-Service Design Firm had already adopted BIM cloud software for 3D modeling and project information management but found that early ideation and iterative problem-solving still happened outside BIM and lacked real-time collaboration, documentation, and consolidated context. To address this gap they turned to Bluescape, using its cloud-based digital workspace, multi-touch Bluescape Wall displays and iPad/web apps to bring creative exploration and comments into a shared environment.

Bluescape provided freeform sketching and large-scale visualization for visioning sessions, preserved sketches and comments for later review, and enabled distributed teams to meet around a single workspace for real-time model review and issue resolution. As a result, Bluescape accelerated ideation and iteration—allowing team members to contribute earlier, reducing back-and-forth model exchanges, and enabling faster, collaborative problem solving (as the project architect noted, “every part of our process has been accelerated”).
