A BluePill Case Study
Gaia Herbs, an herbal supplement brand, needed a faster method to test early-stage innovation concepts against four key consumer metrics. Their challenge was to find a solution that could first prove its accuracy by reproducing their own historical concept-test results before they would trust it with new ideas. They turned to vendor BluePill to address this.
BluePill built a category-grounded consumer twin panel for Gaia Herbs and validated it by blindly testing seven held-out historical concepts, achieving a mean absolute error of 0.31 on a five-point scale. This allowed Gaia Herbs to test 34 new concepts in a single day, integrating consumer feedback into early-stage innovation at a speed and scale that was previously impractical. The solution from BluePill provided not just scores but also risk analysis, enabling more confident decision-making.
