Guidance Automation launches a shelf-ready AMR in 6 months with Bluefrog Design

Guidance Automation, a manufacturer of natural feature navigation systems for autonomous mobile robots (AMRs), needed to develop a fully finished, shelf-ready AMR from their existing prototype system. They commissioned product design consultants Bluefrog Design to create a scalable, modular vehicle within a tight six-month deadline for an exhibition.

Bluefrog Design developed a robust base unit and a universal interface with an adaptable lifting mechanism, creating a complete modular system ready for mass production. They also delivered two optional top modules for different applications. The solution was accomplished on time, resulting in eight functional demonstration units. All three systems are now in mass production for Guidance Automation.
