Gosiger Automation, the robotics division of Gosiger, Inc., struggled with scheduling, time tracking and fragmented communication that left managers without real-time project cost visibility and staff overly dependent on “tribal knowledge.” To address work order management, project coordination and field communication issues, Gosiger Automation implemented BlueFolder’s web-based Field Service Management solution.
BlueFolder deployed its 24/7 FSM for Gosiger’s 17-person team, centralizing tasks, hour logs, expenses and customer history (dating back to the 1990s) and providing a dashboard with real-time insight into labor, resources and costs. Within four months BlueFolder helped cut time spent hunting for documentation, improved collaboration and resource sharing, produced more accurate cost accounting and bids, and gave managers immediate visibility into job progress and where costs were accruing.
