Towards an agile S&OP process and tool implementation

Bluecrux worked with a European family food business focused on bakery products, covering 3,200 active SKUs across 22 factories in Europe. The company needed clearer roles and responsibilities between central and local planning teams, along with major improvements in demand planning, supply planning, and S&OP.

Bluecrux helped define the maturity and business use case, design an agile S&OP process, run workshops, deliver a fit-gap analysis and S&OP playbook, align roles to the new processes, and implement and train the supporting S&OP tool. The project resulted in a better aligned planning organization, improved demand planning tool support, more insight into forecast accuracy, and optimized inventory and lot size parameters.
