A Bluecrux Case Study

Preview of the Largest Privately Hold Food Processing Company Case Study

Putting in place the right supply network for the future

Bluecrux worked with one of Europe’s largest privately held food processing companies, active in starch and glucose, that was facing major uncertainty as European sugar regulations changed and production quotas were removed. The company needed to rethink its manufacturing footprint and align its supply network with the new market conditions to stay competitive.

Bluecrux used its Axon digital tool to model the customer’s current manufacturing network and then test multiple future-state scenarios with its switchboard, including Monte Carlo risk analysis for the most promising footprint options. The final scenario was selected through qualitative assessment, delivering realistic quick wins, a long-term supply chain network design, and more than a 5% estimated EBITDA increase, with the solution adopted by the CEO to guide the company’s future.
