CITY Furniture, a Florida-based furniture retailer with 50+ years of showroom heritage, faced a sudden shift when ecommerce became the new “front door” during the pandemic. Although they had rich product and behavioral data, they lacked the technology to identify individual shopper preferences, measure the impact of digital on in-store purchases, and move beyond generic “batch and blast” outreach.

Partnering with Bluecore, CITY Furniture unified site, email and catalog signals into affinity models and personalized audiences, extending those insights to paid media and in-store attribution. The results: identification grew 330%, opted-in audiences rose 58%, repeat buyers increased 118%, personalized emails drove +70% open rate, +300% click rate, +500% conversion and +30% AOV, paid-media RoAS was 63% higher, and 42% of attributed store revenue came from shoppers who engaged with email before visiting.
