PSV increases online ticket sale conversion, using BlueConic

PSV Eindhoven, the historic Eindhoven soccer club, needed to make its online interactions more relevant to different types of fans to deepen loyalty and increase ticket sales. To do this, PSV Eindhoven engaged BlueConic and its online marketing platform to better understand individual visitors and segment them by involvement using a behavior-based Fan Score.

BlueConic implemented the Fan Score, dynamic fan segmentation, real-time cross-channel content delivery (homepage takeovers, editorials, banners) and retargeting for abandoned ticket bookings, all launched within days. The solution gave PSV Eindhoven a unified visitor view and drove targeted campaigns that raised ticket conversion rates to as much as 6%, improved recovery of unfinished bookings, and helped convert moderately involved fans into more loyal supporters.
