Glencore Nikkelverk, part of Glencore plc in Kristiansand, Norway, needed a better way to manage as-built technical documentation and drawings for its Nikkelverk factory. The company used BlueCielo Meridian, with support from PLM Solutions, to control document workflow for maintenance and newbuilding projects and to handle releases more efficiently.

BlueCielo Meridian and BlueCielo Meridian Publisher were implemented and integrated with AutoCAD, Inventor, and internal business systems to centralize storage, enable supplier access through a portal, and automate publishing of released documents. The result was streamlined document control, automatic creation of renditions for new revisions, and improved collaboration with external suppliers through BlueCielo.
