New York Power Authority, the largest state-operated power provider in the United States, needed a more streamlined way to manage and share engineering information across five independent sites. With about 60,000 drawings spread across multiple locations, the utility struggled with slow document transfer, inconsistent access to CAD data, and the need to retain title block information across different site standards. BlueCielo helped address these challenges with BlueCielo Meridian, its Engineering Information Management solution.

BlueCielo implemented a single common Meridian interface, imported legacy data from multiple systems, and supported 75 users with varying skill levels. The result was faster document workflows, secure access to engineering information from one interface, and better sharing of up-to-date data across all sites. New York Power Authority also gained full searching and reporting capabilities, CAD Overlay for scanned drawings, and the ability to view and print files without native software installed, boosting productivity and helping meet regulatory demands.
