Crystal Clear Asset Lifecycle Information Management at Dunea

Dunea, the Dutch utility that supplies drinking water to about 1.2 million residents in South Holland, needed a better way to manage engineering drawings and technical documents across departments. Working with BlueCielo and its document management software, the company set out to improve access to asset information, support changing workflows, and keep track of both digital and archived documents.

BlueCielo implemented BlueCielo Meridian, with the Asset Management module and integrations with AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and Ultimo Maintenance Management. The solution gave Dunea a complete overview of document status, ownership, and history, improved engineering change processes, and connected asset tags to the right maintenance documents. BlueCielo helped Dunea make 50,000 documents easily accessible, support around 170 users, and maintain a stable system with minimal maintenance.
