CSC (now DXC) is a global IT services provider operating 30 data centers and managing roughly 16 million IP addresses for itself and more than 100 times that for clients. Faced with overlapping address spaces, mounting manual effort, the need to protect DNS transactions, prepare for IPv6 growth and adopt DNSSEC, CSC needed a scalable way to understand, optimize and secure its vast and complex network footprint.

CSC deployed BlueCat to consolidate IP address management, DNS and DHCP as a single source of truth. This created actionable network intelligence that improved service delivery, security and reliability, reduced infrastructure and management costs, and enabled secure multi-tenant and multi-role operations so regional teams and individual client environments can be managed more effectively.
