Leeds University launches My Meal Mate in a 6-month trial with Blueberry Consultants

The Nutritional Epidemiology Group at Leeds University required software expertise to develop a mobile phone application for a weight loss intervention study funded by the NIHR. They contacted Blueberry Consultants for their proven expertise in mobile technology and database systems to help instigate the study plan.

Blueberry Consultants created the 'My Meal Mate' Android application and a supporting ASP.NET reporting website. The solution provided features for tracking diet and exercise, and all data was uploaded to a website for analysis. The project was completed on schedule and within budget, providing Leeds University with customized features and the long-term advantage of retaining the IP. Blueberry also played a strong technical consultancy role in the project.
