Swinerton, a top-25 U.S. general contractor with regional offices across the Western states, faced slow, paper-based document workflows that made managing plans, RFIs, shop drawings and plan revisions time-consuming and error-prone. Plan updates required manual redlines, slip-sheeting and duplicate transcriptions, which complicated tracking, accountability and timely access to the latest information across multiple projects and teams.

Several regional offices adopted Bluebeam Revu to digitize communication and plan revisions—combining source PDFs, adding bookmarks, redlining and replacing pages while preserving markups, and hyperlinking RFIs/ASIs. The firm also deployed digital plan tables and tablets in the field.
