Ryan Companies Looks to Revu to Improve Efficiency for a Large, Multi-Phased Project

Ryan Companies led design-build on Marina Heights, a $600 million, two‑million‑square‑foot mixed‑use development in Tempe — the largest office project in Arizona history. Because the project is multi‑phased with several buildings in design while others are under construction, the team faced hundreds of drawings, multiple bid and document packages, and more than 60 project managers and field staff needing a fast, reliable way to communicate with the client, partners and the City of Tempe.

Ryan expanded its use of Bluebeam Revu, implementing Studio Projects for online collaboration, weekly internal “charrettes,” and shared review with design partner DAVIS, engineers and the city. Digital workflows eliminated recurring printing costs (saving $151,200 to date and an anticipated $252,000 when all packages are permitted), improved accuracy and efficiency, eased adoption across teams, and helped the City streamline its permitting reviews.
