Ribuna AG, a young civil engineering firm in Interlaken, Switzerland, faced the challenge of delivering high-quality, end-to-end digital planning while rapidly adapting to decentralized, home-office work during the COVID-19 pandemic—most pressingly on the Oberried Station refurbishment. The team needed a way to maintain planning quality, minimize errors, and cut paper use while coordinating with multiple external partners and varied CAD/BIM workflows.

Ribuna implemented Bluebeam Revu (with support from Allplan/Bluebeam) to standardize PDF data sets, enable real-time markups, track approvals and comments, and control permissions, plus precise scaled measuring and stamping tools for auditability. The result was faster, more transparent reviews and coordination, minimal error rates, smoother decentralized workflows, savings of thousands of CHF, and a 20–50% reduction in paper use—benefits Ribuna will continue to rely on for future projects.
