Hilson Moran, a UK engineering consultancy with 40 years in the built environment, set out to modernise its paper-based drawing and submittal review processes. Routine print‑mark‑scan workflows were slow, degraded drawing quality and hindered collaboration, so the firm needed a digital solution to boost efficiency and support multi-office working.

The company rolled out Bluebeam Revu—training small groups, creating custom tool sets and adopting features like Batch Overlay—to move to paperless reviews and faster markups. Adoption grew from 10 to 229 licences, delivering quicker project reviews, higher-quality drawings, reduced printing and a smaller environmental footprint, with plans to use Bluebeam Studio for seamless cross-office collaboration.
