Bluebeam's bFX™ technology integrated Revu into web-based project management solution, ArchitTrek

Grace & Hebert Architects (GHA), an APAC firm with over 1,000 projects, built ArchitTrek as a web-based project management platform to manage the thousands of documents and reviews across their jobs. However, ArchitTrek lacked built-in electronic markup tools, forcing users to download, print, hand-mark, scan and re-upload shop drawings—a slow, error-prone workflow that undermined the platform’s efficiency.

GHA solved the problem by integrating Bluebeam Revu via its bFX file-exchange protocol so users can open PDFs from ArchitTrek, redline them with AEC-standard tools, and save annotations and metadata back to the web system. The integration added version control, access permissions and file locking; users reported a 60% reduction in time spent marking up shop drawings, and GHA is extending Revu integration to RFIs and electronic bidding.
