Berry, a division of Suffolk, managed the core-and-shell and fit-out of the 100,000 sq. ft. Overlook Center in Waltham, MA and set out to eliminate paper from its construction workflows. The challenge was to enable architects, Berry staff and subcontractors to review, redline and distribute large volumes of construction documents quickly and sustainably while streamlining construction administration.

Berry deployed Bluebeam Revu across the project team, trained users on PDF markup best practices, and leveraged AEC-specific features like custom tool chests, drawing comparison, tracking and tablet compatibility. The team electronically redlined over 42,000 pages and eliminated 3,042 paper shipments, creating a scalable, repeatable paperless workflow that reduced cost, saved time and is being replicated on future projects.
