Talbots, a multi-channel retailer with 540 stores, needed to replace a 20-year-old mainframe allocation system that limited its ability to optimize store assortments. The legacy process was manually intensive, couldn’t allocate packs and loose items together, and lacked visibility into recent sales trends—blocking faster, more strategic decision-making.
