Cummins Global Logistics relies on Blue Yonder’s Intelligent Fulfillment solution to deliver excellent customer service

Cummins Global Logistics (CGL), the parts and distribution arm of Cummins Inc., supports aftermarket service in roughly 190 countries and needed to modernize an aging in-house warehouse management system to handle growing demand. After evaluating vendors and site visits, CGL selected JDA’s Warehouse Management solution to provide greater automation, better labor management and improved supply chain controls.

Deploying JDA Warehouse Management (with Warehouse Labor Management and Parcel) across more than 20 global sites, supported by JDA consulting and training, delivered a 20% increase in warehouse productivity (10% attributable to automated picking), increased capacity and lower costs. CGL continues rolling out labor management to additional locations—expecting roughly 10% labor savings at larger facilities—and plans to expand the Global Systems Suite to more sites.
