CONAD Centro Nord is a large Italian retail cooperative with more than 230 stores across Emilia-Romagna and Lombardy. Facing an inefficient re-ordering process based on paper printouts and only partial ERP use, the company sought to free up internal resources, cut costs, reduce unfulfilled orders and improve service to customers and affiliated stores.

By implementing JDA’s Advanced Warehouse Replenishment with JDA consulting and support, CONAD automated about 65% of reorder volume (83% excluding fresh goods), reorganized supplier responsibilities and restructured data. Results included a 1.8‑day reduction in coverage days (three‑day peaks for frozen), an 8.7% inventory reduction (14% for frozen), fewer unfulfilled orders with higher promotional sales and better shelf life, lower logistics costs and improved team productivity and service levels.
