Grupo Marti, a Mexico City–based, family‑owned sporting goods retailer with 270+ stores and about $400M in annual sales, faced scaling problems as it expanded: manual replenishment processes and Excel spreadsheets led to poor inventory control, unreliable store counts and a 27% out‑of‑stock rate on core/basic products, which constrained sales and customer service.

Marti implemented JDA’s Advanced Store Replenishment with JDA consulting and education to gain SKU/size/color visibility, seasonally adjusted forecasts and better supplier coordination. Within nine months out‑of‑stocks fell from 27% to 6%, basic product revenue rose from 6% to 19%, and year‑over‑year sales and profitability improved by roughly 56% and 50%, respectively, alongside more accurate forecasting.
