Unsworth becomes a sustainability leader by adding emissions measurement to its Pathway app

Unsworth, a freight and logistics company with 50 years of experience and more than 1 million shipments handled, wanted to add high-quality emissions measurement and reporting to its Pathway app. The company found that building this capability in-house would be too complex and not commercially viable, especially given the standards needed to be a leader in sustainable freight. Blue Yonder’s Logistics Emissions Calculator was the vendor solution considered for the platform.

Blue Yonder integrated its Logistics Emissions Calculator with Unsworth’s Pathway app, using AWS S3 bulk file import/export to support automated workflows and end-to-end emissions reporting. The result was instant positive client feedback and a stronger sustainability strategy: more than 900 customers and nearly 2,000 users gained access to emissions reporting, and Unsworth’s clients have already measured over 82,150 tons of CO2e.
