CRP Industries, a U.S. supplier of automotive and industrial parts handling about 19,000 SKUs and brands like ContiTech, Rein and Pentosin, was struggling to plan sourcing, inventory and distribution as demand doubled. With three-month lead times from Europe and three distinct demand streams (OEM supply, distributor/retailer sales and in‑house kit assembly), its ERP purchasing module couldn’t produce an accurate demand signal.
